Bingo players please take note: “Starting 30 April, the regular Monday night Bingo will be held on the MAIN LEVEL of the Wing, in the Dance Floor area.”

A heads up to all Wing Patrons that starting some time in JULY, The West End Blues Band will play at the Wing each Wednesday night.  As soon as dates are confirmed, the July calendar will be updated.


Wing Golf Tournament

It’s time to dust off  the clubs and to get ready for the first Wing Fun Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, the 23rd of June at the Summerside Golf Club.  The Wing Sports Rep, Ian Gosse will provide additional details as the date approaches.


Lobster Carnival Float and Boat Race

The Wing Sports rep is looking for volunteers to help build a float & boat for the Lobster Carnival Parade and Cardboard Boat Race.   Sign up sheets are at the bar. So if you have some experience with Duct Tape & cardboard or just want to help, put  your name on the list.

AFAC 200 Wing Donates to Hospital

AFAC 200 Wing Donates to Hospital and Becomes “A Friend of Prince County Hospital”

A cheque for $1,000.00 was recently presented to the Prince County Hospital to support their fundraising campaign.  This donation gives “The Wing” the status of “Friend of Prince County Hospital” and will be posted on their wall.  Shown presenting the cheque to Campaign Chairman, Ralph Thompson, are President, Barry Rowan and First Vice-President, Phyllis Buchanan.

The Wing has contributed annually to the Prince County Hospital and to many other local fundraising projects, all in support of our local community, on behalf of our members.
