The Sports Committee will coordinate all Wing, Provincial and Atlantic Sports events. The Committee Chairperson will post notices at the Wing and on the Wing web site well in advance for all upcoming sports events and ensure participants are aware of the extent of the wing assisted funding for those events. The Sports Committee Chairperson will also ensure that wing participants for sports events have been members in good standing for at least three months prior to the event.
As the details for the sports events are known they will be posted on our website and in the Wing but in general our members can look forward to the following sports activities each year:
- Atlantic Group curling hosted in various locations in the Maritimes and local Wing fun curling events
- Atlantic Group darts (mixed, ladies, mens) hosted in various locations in the Maritimes and local Wing fun darts.
- Atlantic Group golf tournament hosted in various locations in the Maritimes, local Wing tournaments and a yearly PEI Wing 200/Wing 201 golf tournament.
Other sporting events include Wing Cribbage and in the Summer, Washer Toss tournaments.
